WY: The American Guild of Court Videographers is proud to announce the

and La Jolla Legal Video and Multimedia as a "Certified Court
Videographer", (CCV) after having successfully completed all of
the requirements of the AGCV during its training seminar. The AGCV is
the only organization in the United States that trains and certifies
professional Videographers in all phases of legal video while meeting
all of the stipulations of The Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. Explicit
training included Video Depositions, Forensic Video, Day-In-The-Life
Documentaries, Settlement Documentaries, Video Wills, Proof of Damages
Video, Scenes of Incidents, Mock Trial Coverage, Evidence of Insurance
Fraud, Courtroom, Presentations, Pre-Construction Surveys, and Videotaping
Construction Draws. Being trained as an expert legal videographer, Mr.
Costa can also be called as an expert witness to testify on the compliance
or noncompliance of other videos entered as evidence and as to whether
they meet the guidelines of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. Mr.
Costa passed the 175 questions AGCV Certification Exam with an astounding
97%. There are approximately 2000 AGCV members and only approximately
500 Certified Court Videographers currently in the United States. As
a "Fellow" in the good standing in the AGCV, Mr. Costa is
one of the very few in the country allowed to promote and advertise
his expertise in the field of legal video using the official logo and
certification provided by the AGCV.
The certification provided by American Guild
of Court Videographers is limited to only professional Videographers.
To meet the requirements of the rapidly changing technology, each certified
member is required to stay abreast of the profession by completing additional
continuing education. To be certified as an expert in this exciting
and exacting legal video profession is indeed a great accomplishment
and we extend our congratulations. Mr. Costa is also in the process
of becoming a notary public that will allow him to swear in deponents
and videotape expert witnesses.
James started the video production business
in 1994 and has grown into a multi-media company consisting of video/television
